Mr Sisira Kumara

Sisira Kumara has over 18 years of industry experience in diverse areas of the IT sector where he has proved his capabilities in the areas of Training, Networking, System Implementation, Software Testing & Quality Assurance, Project Management, and Consultancy. Currently working as a Head of Quality Assurance at Millennium Information Technologies which is part of London Stock Exchange group.

 

Prior to Millennium IT Sisira worked at Leapset Inc. a silicon valley startup as Head of Quality assurance from inception of the company to until it get accured by Sysco the largest food distributor in the world. Prior to Leapset Sisira worked Virtusa, the largest IT services and consultancy company in Sri Lanka providing solutions and consultancy services to Fortune 500 customers in Software Quality Assurance. Sisira have experience in handling large software testing projects in various international client engagements and managed over 350 SQA professionals in his prior role as the QA Manager for a business unit.

Mr Hussain Shabbir
Director & Global Head of AWS CoE - Cloud Transformation Team, Virtusa Corp

 

Hussain Shabbir is an IT professional with a vast experience in technology & business/operations management experience, both in USA & Sri Lanka. He is an expert in designing and developing mission-critical applications, systems and software; with focus on Enterprise Architecture, especially in delivering transformational solutions using Cloud & DevOps technologies. Hussain is currently a Director & Global Head of AWS CoE at Virtusa Corp.

Prior to his role at Virtusa, Hussain functioned as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) & Head of Operations at Aeturnum Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. He was responsible for formulating a technical vision and strategy for advancing the state of practice in the engineering of software-services and products in the company. He was also responsible for enhancing Aeturnum’s existing Global Engineering Process (GEP) which had received a CMMI Level 3 rating. Additionally, he was the Head of Operations for the Colombo Offshore Development Center (ODC), whilst looking into delivery assurance, offshore profitability, technology consultation, MIS, PMO, HR, pre-sales and business development.

Hussain holds a BSc (Hons) in Information Systems from Manchester Metropolitan University, UK.

Mr Chinthaka Indikadahena
Independant Consultant

 

Chinthaka Indikadahena has over 30 years of IT experience in various areas such as programming, project management, software quality assurance and testing. He has worked in IT organizations in Sri Lanka, New Zealand and USA during this period. He is currently retired from regular employment and engaged in industry work such as training and consulting.

 

He is a BSc (Science) graduate from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka and a Certified Software Quality Analyst (from QAI, USA).

Mr Inthiquab Haddard
Director of Business Operations, WSO2

 

Inthiquab Haddard possesses over 12 years of experience in the IT industry; spanning a wide range of areas such as software quality assurance, project management, business analysis, software process definition, software development and systems administration. Prior to joining WSO2 Inthiquab worked at HSBC-Group Knowledge Management as an Assistant Vice President – Quality Assurance, where he was responsible for the global implementation and continuous improvement of the organization's quality management system. He was instrumental in setting up and heading the software testing teams across multiple locations, as well as overseeing the business risk and contingency management activities locally.

 

Inthiquab holds a bachelors degree in Information Systems from Manchester Metropolitan University, UK and is a certified Internal Auditor on CMMi and ISO 9001:2008 standards.
