About SLSTB
Who We Are
Sri Lanka Software Testing Board (SLSTB) is a non-profit organization that represents the national industry interests and promotes the broad profession of software testing. It is comprised of a group of experienced experts in software testing who volunteer their time to the development, maintenance, and promotion of the ISTQB Certified Tester program in the Sri Lanka.
The SLSTB was is approved by International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) General Assembly.
As a member of the ISTQB, SLSTB provides the leadership and regulates the accreditation process and certification regulations for the Sri Lankan software industry; through promoting the development of a common body of understanding and knowledge about testing in alignment with ISTQB programmes that are internationally recognized. It also represents Sri Lankan interests internationally as the national board for Sri Lanka within the ISTQB.
It is the mission of SLSTB to bring the value and quality of the ISTQB syllabus and certification to the local and regional industry, such that the IT industries can speed up to be on par with the international level of expertise and quality.
